Where We Grow:

Masonville, Stove Prairie & Wimberley Orchards

Two of our orchards are located in the beautiful Masonville Valley and surrounding foothills near Stove Prairie, west of Loveland and Fort Collins, overlooking the Front Range, where warm days and cool nights are ideal for producing outstanding fruit.  Our 3rd orchard is located in Central Texas, near the town of Wimberley.

The Masonville Valley is a historical area with a rich history of fruit orchards. The elevation of Masonville is 5500 feet, where it is subject to warm days and cool nights.  Late frost in the spring makes it challenging for early blooming varieties.

The Stove Prairie location is at an elevation of 7200 feet where the trees bloom much later and avoid late frosts. However, the growing season is much shorter and limited to what can be grown there. Our greatest challenge with the Stove Prairie location is keeping the bears and elk from enjoying the fruit before we get to!

The Wimberley location is near the historic Peach growing area of Fredericksburg, Texas, everyone in Texas is familiar with “Fredericksburg Peaches” where hot days and nights produce outstanding peaches, nectarines, plum hybrids and low chill apples.
